Travel: take 9:46 Met line train from Harrow on the Hill station and change at Finchley Road to southbound Jubilee line train to Bond Street. There change on west bound Central line to Queensway.
Nature of walk: a pleasant walk through 4 Royal Parks from Kensington Gardens, via Hyde Park and Green Park to St James Park. An optional extension along the Thames embankment to Embankment, Temple or Blackfriars. Plenty of facilities en route plus sights as well. Packed lunch optional, depending on how far you walk and what else you wish to do.
