Royal Parks (Kensington Gardens to St James Park) – 23.3.2026

Peter Polkinghorne writes: four of us gathered at Queensway station to set off to the first park, Kensington Gardens. The weather was fine with hazy sunshine. A passer-by took a group photo at G F Watts statue, Physical Energy. We then went on to Hyde Park and admired the flowers. We then passed through Green Park and by Buckingham Palace to St James’s Park where we had lunch by the lake and we menaced by a couple of geese. Finally we continued along the embankment to Blackfriars where we went North to Farringdon Station and home. Thank you to those who cam for an enjoyable and sociable walk.
