Travel: from Harrow-on-the Hill easiest route is Met line to Finchley Road then change to Mildmay Line ( terminates at Richmond) either
from Finchley Road and Frognal (7 minute walk up Finchley Road)
Or one stop on Jubilee Line to West Hampstead and cross the road to the Overground station
Trains from West Hampstead at 9.39, 9.49,10.04 ……
(Also Mainline trains from Waterloo or Vauxhall stations)
Nature of the Walk: to and from Richmond station, starting along the river then a circular walk in Richmond Park from Petersham Gate, exiting at Richmond Gate and back through Richmond town.
Tearoom in Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park ( Butlers Pantry) is open until 3.30pm
Hollyhock cafe and terrace garden on way back to station open all day
