Michael Romain writes: What a wonderful spring day! It was a joy to be out in the Chilterns on this most splendid day. Everyone was in good spirits. We had had to change the route because of train problems but no one seemed to mind. Most people had a successful visit to one of the two pubs in Chenies. It was delightful to see so many young children out playing by the River Chess.
