Peter Polkinghorne writes:
Five brave souls joined me on a wet Saturday morning at Chesham to walk to Chorleywood. Although wet and muddy, we made it Flaunden where we had lunch, sheltering in the church porch. We then went to the Green Dragon for a most welcome hot coffee. After this the weather improved, with blue skies by the time we reached Chenies Manor. We then made our way through Carpenters Wood to Chorleywood. We got a Met Line train back to Harrow full of England’s Women’s Football team supporters on their way to Wembley. The day finished off with a wonderful sunset.
