Each year, St Luke’s Hospice and the Walking Club organise an annual fundraising sponsored walk. These are usually around one of the May Bank Holidays and last 4 or 5 days. We stay in accommodation together and walk up to 60 miles of so. Typically we have 50 to 70 walkers, so it makes for a sociable event.
In 2025, from 23 to 26 May, we’ll be walking in the Peak District along the Peak Way, southern section. There are different route options, so people of all abilities can take part. It’s a great way to challenge yourself, meet like-minded people, and support a good cause. The official St Luke’s page.
