Nature of Walk: Repeating a previous walk of about 5 miles on paved surfaces, crossing the Thames to the South Bank at Tate Modern, continuing along to Tower Bridge, and following the quayside path to Tobacco Dock. The walk ends at Whitechapel via Cable Street.

Nature of Walk: Walk along upper slopes of Chess Valley via Chenies, descending into the valley and rising to Church End Sarratt. Picnic by the church with time for drinks/toilets at The Cock Inn pub. The route continues across field tracks, over the M25, passing Micklefield Hall and Redheath, then across a golf course into Cassiobury Park, with a possible tea/toilet stop before finishing at Watford Met Station.

Travel: Take the 10:09 southbound from Harrow on the Hill.
Nature of Walk: Through suburban roads to the Heath, passing the Freud Museum. The route includes West Heath, East Heath, and Kenwood, crossing Parliament Hill to Hampstead Heath Station, where there are regular trains to West Hampstead Overground (a short walk to the Jubilee Line). A special London walk showcasing the best parts of the Heath. Plenty of facilities available, but a packed lunch is recommended.

Nature of Walk: The route follows a short section of the Grand Union Canal (likely muddy), then undulating field and woodland paths to Hastoe. The return journey passes through Tring Park. Bring lunch; an early lunch stop is planned near Wigginton Village Shop and Café, where hot drinks are available.

Nature of Walk: From the station, walk down to the old town via back streets, past the cricket club, and up the valley through Electric Wood (Mop End). Continue via field paths and a lane to descend to Little Missenden for a picnic (bring food), with a possible pub visit at The Red Lion. Return along the South Bucks Way, past Shardeloes House, with a final steep uphill stretch to Amersham Station. The walk will be muddy—walking sticks recommended.
