DESCRIPTION:General area: from Farringdon to Waterloo/Southwark (Lower Marsh) Miles: roughly 5 easy\nMeeting time: 10:15 Meeting place: outside Farringdon station by Petit Pret (on the pedestrianised area between the Underground and the National Rail entrances/exits\nLeader: Deborah Tyler  Mobile: 07961382524\nTravel: take 9:35 Met Line from Harrow on the Hill.\nTake Met line direct towards Aldgate or change at Baker Street if necessary to Circle or Hammersmith and City.\nNature of the walk: \nthrough Smithfield and Postman’s Park to St Paul’s ( with cafe and loos in the crypt) then up river through Temple\, Embankment Gardens\, passing Houses of Parliament to cross Lambeth Bridge to the Garden Museum and through Archbishop’s Gardens to Lower Marsh with suggested end/ lunch at EV under the arches on Isabella Street between Waterloo and Southwark\n(Could continue through Bernie Spain garden and cross over Blackfriars Bridge and back to Farringdon). There are ample breakpoints in terms of bus stops and tube stations.

We return on the Chiltern line. it is a very pleasant Chiltern walk.
