There change on west bound Central line to Queensway.\nNature of walk: a pleasant walk through 4 Royal Parks from Kensington Gardens\, via Hyde Park and Green Park to St James Park. An optional extension along the Thames embankment to Embankment\, Temple or Blackfriars. Plenty of facilities en route plus sights as well.

(Be aware there is another New Rd in Berkhamsted – you need the one by the castle.)\nNature of Walk: This steadily paced walk will take us up via Berkhamsted Common and the Big Field to Potten End where we will have the lunch stop. Please bring sandwiches. The return will be down the lane and along the canal to the station.
