Now we will walk to Chorleywood due to lack of trains at Tring.  We walk down to Herbert’s Hole and then we cut off northwards up and down cross country. There are choices of two pubs to stop at and it is a delightful entry across Tring Park down to Tring railway station and the main line with frequent trains back to Euston.
